Want to present your insurtech idea to a
catastrophe stakeholders? Here's your chance!
CatIQ Connect's December 3rd quarterly webinar: New in Catastrophe Technology & Modelling is looking for insurtech innovators working in the CAT management sphere to pitch their projects to our attendees, a group comprised of Re/Insurance industry, government, and academic representatives from Canada and abroad.
Who are we?
Canada's Catastrophe Conference! At CatIQ Connect, we dive deep into catastrophes, discuss catastrophe management strategies, and explore
sector perspectives. We focus on preparedness, resiliency, and available tools, bringing together impacted stakeholders and policymakers working for the greater good of all Canadians.
Who are you?
A tech trailblazer working in CAT-country! You're an entrepreneur or startup working on a product, project, or idea that aligns with our focus on CAT tech or
modelling, be it in a big picture or boots on the ground capacity. You'd like to present to our audience at our online session on December 3, 2020.

How to apply?
We're asking interested parties to submit a proposal including at least one of the following by November 6th, 2020
(Be sure to pick the format that best showcases your tech!):
- A video describing the product, project, or concept
- A pitch deck
- A short abstract
Our steering committee will review the submissions and choose four entries
that best align with the webinar's theme. Those selected will be contacted
during the week of November 16th, 2020, at which time we'll provide the next steps.
The fine print:
- Submissions are due November 6, no exceptions!
- Each winning entrant is required to register two attendees for the webinar.
- Winners must be available to fill one pitch time slot on December 3.
- Presentations should be no longer than 10 minutes but expect to be available for at least half an hour so we can ensure smooth setup.
