Coordinator, Built Environment Program, Ouranos
Nathalie Bleau is the Coordinator of the Built Environment program at Ouranos (consortium on regional climatology and adaptation to climate change), Nathalie Bleau is an urban planner and researcher from University of Montreal. She worked in academic institutions and the public sector. She arrived at Ouranos in 2007, and she's part of the "Vulnerabilities, Impacts and Adaptation" group. She specialized on issues related to the built environment in a context of climate change. Governance, land-use planning, buildings and infrastructures (storm and drinking water, urban technical network and transport) are among its themes of interest, as well as the management of natural hazards, particularly around floods issues. She was co-coordinator of the program of coordinated and sustained action ICAR-Québec (Natural Resources Canada) and actively participated in various projects in analysis of social and territorial vulnerability and adaptation strategy to climate change.
