Shana Johnston is the Senior Claims Manager, Catastrophe & Vendor Relations at the BCAA Insurance Corporation. Before moving into Claims in 2014, Shana spent many years on the Sales and Operations side of BCAA, starting with selling insurance before moving into managing sales teams and later operations. Moving to the Claims department gave Shana an opportunity to explore a different side of insurance, learning more about the impacts of claims and how customers progress through stages of recovery after a loss. Her role in implementing and managing BCAA’s catastrophe response plan has inspired her interest in learning more about how we respond to natural disasters and the potential for preventing future losses, while her work with vendor partners provides a unique opportunity to support providing excellent customer experiences from behind the scenes.
