Senior Advisor, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support at Canadian Red Cross
From the beautiful territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən speaking people, and the Songhees, Esquimalt and W̱SÁNEĆ Nations, Alison (Ali) Paul (MSW, RSW) is Senior Advisor, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support with the Canadian Red Cross. Since 2009 and across various portfolios from coast-to-coast-to-coast, she has supported several large-scale domestic and international responses to integrate mental health, psychosocial wellbeing, and protection considerations. In addition to the Red Cross, she has worked with UNICEF on child protection, and the Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women (GAATW) on human trafficking. In addition, she currently serves on the Board of a housing provider in Victoria, BC, and works with Health Canada’s specialized psychosocial services.
