Adam Brainard

Chief Meteorologist at Weather Modification LLC

Adam Brainard is the Chief Meteorologist for Weather Modification International. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Valparaiso University in 2014 and completed a Masters in Atmospheric Science from Texas A&M in 2016.

Adam first gained experience applying cloud seeding to increase precipitation and mitigate hail damage when he was an intern meteorologist on the North Dakota Cloud Modification Program in 2013. He has since worked as a field meteorologist – providing custom forecasting and assisting and directing aircraft-based cloud seeding operations – on the Alberta Hail Suppression Project for eleven seasons. Adam is an expert in the implementation of numerical weather prediction to support operational cloud seeding programs and has had an active role establishing cloud seeding programs in several U.S. states and countries around the world.
