Stefanie Coleman
Sustainable and Resilient Housing Industry Lead at Natural Resources Canada
Stefanie Coleman joined NRCan’s LEEP team in July 2023 and is overseeing LEEPs work on the Greener Neighbourhoods Pilot Program, and Climate Adaptation and Resilience in residential construction. She has worked in the residential construction industry for 19 years, having owned a renovation contracting business for 15 years. She had the privilege of working with Building Knowledge Canada, delivering Integrated Design Process (IDP) sessions among other initiatives and then working with Doug Tarry Homes as Chief Sustainability Officer. She served as the national Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA) President in 2019/2020, completed a Master of Environment and Business (2023), and began a PhD in Sustainability Management at the University of Waterloo in 2023.
