Product Lead at JBA Risk Management
Alex is an experienced flood and catastrophe risk management professional. With more than 13 years’ experience in the insurance sector, catastrophe risk modelling and flood risk management, he currently leads on the development of products harnessing JBA’s AI-driven weather, flood and impact modelling. This informs the insurance and financial sectors, governments and NGOs about current and future flood risk.
Before joining JBA, Alex worked as Catastrophe Modelling Manager at Lloyds Banking Group and was responsible for the natural catastrophe view of risk for General Insurance.
Alex has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geography and a Master of Science (MSc) in Hydrology and Climate Change from the University of Newcastle.
