Director, Enterprise Risk Management at Brookfield GIS

Ingrid Robinson is the Director of Enterprise Risk Management for Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions (“Brookfield GIS”), with accountability for leading the Company’s Enterprise-wide Risk Management, Business Continuity & Emergency Response, and Insurance programs.

Ingrid has two decades of experience in public practice and industry, in the fields of enterprise risk management, internal audit, governance effectiveness, and regulatory compliance working with large and complex organizations in Canada and the US, in a variety of industries including the real estate sector. Prior to joining Brookfield GIS in late 2014, Ingrid was the Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Governance Consulting Practice Leader for professional services firm MNP LLP.

Ingrid is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program for Risk Management and the Institute of Corporate Directors (“ICD”) – Director Education Program.

Ingrid also holds a Master of Financial Accountability, and is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Risk Management Assurance Professional, and Certified Internal Auditor.

Ingrid is also a recognized thought leader in her field, as a published author in highly recognized professional journals (such as ICD’s Directors Journal, Corporate Risk Canada Magazine, and the ISACA Journal), and a frequent speaker at professional conferences, such as RIMS Canada, AFP Treasury Management Forum, IIROC, Federated Press, and Infonex.
