Terry Chowanec is the Vice President of National Security Operations with Cadillac Fairview Corporation and has been based in Toronto for the last 7 years. He has been with Cadillac Fairview for nearly 9 years, starting with the company on his return to Canada as the regional director for security and life safety in Western Canada.

Terry Chowanec is a former member of the Calgary Police Service with assignments in patrol, the Drug Unit, Criminal Intelligence, in the Chief's Office, and finally as the Staff Sergeant in charge of Internal Affairs.
Terry holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and International Relations from the University of Manitoba.
