Brad Roeber
Executive Director at California Insurance Guarantee Association (CIGA)
Brad joined CIGA in September of 2018 after a 35-year career on the carrier side of the insurance business. He spent time in all of the functional departments at both Allstate and the Auto Club Group (AAA). His last industry post was serving as SVP and COO of the Meemic and Fremont Insurance companies, both Michigan domestics.
His initial foray into the Guaranty Fund world was as a Board member of the Illinois Insurance Guaranty Fund in 2002, serving that Board until 2018, the last 5 as the Board chair. He was an industry member of the NCIGF Board from 2016-2018 and rejoined that Board in 2019 as a guaranty fund manager. He currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the NCIGF, as well as the Chair of GSI. He also serves as a Board member of the Rotary Club of Altadena, an organization that serves the residents of this mountain community in the heart of Southern California.
Brad and his wife Susie met while they were students at Washington State University where Brad earned a degree Business Administration – Accounting. They reside in Altadena, California with their dog, Oliver. They have two grown children, Russell, and Allie.
