Eric Robinson, Ph.D.
Director at Aon Impact Forecasting
Dr. Eric Robinson joined Aon in 2021 as a Director in Impact Forecasting’s Research and Development team. His career spans just over a decade in the Catastrophe Modeling space, where he has contributed to and led the development of some of the industry’s leading natural peril models. He currently oversees the development of Impact Forecasting’s Severe Convective Storm and Wildfire models, globally.
He holds a B.S. in Applied Physics and a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences, both from Purdue University. His research work covers a variety of different weather phenomena and focuses on the use of statistical methods and numerical weather prediction to study hazardous weather conditions over the United States and across the globe.
