Koker Christensen is a partner at Fasken and Co-Leader of the firm’s Financial Services Group. He works with insurers, reinsurers, agents, brokers, MGAs and InsurTechs. Koker advises on mergers and acquisitions, assumption and indemnity reinsurance transactions, regulatory matters, corporate governance, risk management, and licensing matters. As part of his practice, Koker frequently deals with OSFI and other financial services regulators.
Koker’s transactional and regulatory expertise has been recognized by leading legal directories, including Chambers Canada, IFLR 1000, Who’s Who Legal Canada and the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
Koker is a past member of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee for Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario. He is also a member of the board of directors of a Canadian chartered bank and Prosper Canada, a national charity dedicated to expanding economic opportunity for Canadians living in poverty.
