Martin works at Impact Forecasting (IF), Aon’s model developemnt division, as catastrophe model developer and leader of a team of engineers and scientists, who are introducing fresh ideas to catastrophe models. This includes application of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in terrorism modelling, development of continental scale flood event set for the IF Pan-European flood model, developing tools for handling big datasets and extending capabilities of loss modeling platforms. Martin also coordinates research activities with academia and engineering companies. He holds PhD in geosciences and his hobbies are footbike sport and skiing.
