Scott Bolton’s current responsibilities include: Providing specialist consulting to support clients purchasing terrorism insurance; delivering a more articulate approach to managing a terrorism program; supporting clients in understanding their exposure to unfamiliar, high impact risks (terrorism, security), or who have operations in hostile or “developed” environments; providing guidance in managing those risks on the ground; and working with clients to develop organisational resilience across the risk assessment, secure environment, crisis management, and continuity management functions.
Prior to his commercial experience, Scott spent six years in the Royal Engineers, specializing in Bomb Disposal. He has also conducted counter terrorism roles internationally, commanding bomb disposal and counter terrorist teams, as well as short-term counter terror training deployments. He was the operational/intelligence focus for the UK Royal Engineer Bomb Disposal regiment, where he managed training and deployment, and provided technical consulting advice and support for UK and overseas deployments of military assets delivering bomb disposal support.
