Senior Systems Scientist at Meteorological Service of Canada

Tom Kralidis is a Senior Systems Scientist with the Meteorological Service of Canada where he provides geospatial leadership in support of the delivery of weather and climate data. Tom is chief architect on the renewal of the World Ozone and Ultraviolet Radiation Data Centre (WOUDC) in support of the WMO Global Atmospheric Watch, as well as of GeoMet, MSC’s Geospatial Web Services delivery of real-time meteorological data. Tom is active in numerous international standards activities as part of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Technical Committee, the ISO Technical Committee 211 Geographic Information / Geomatics, and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
