Bobby Sekhon
Warning Preparedness Meteorologist, Prediction Services - West at Meteorological Service of Canada, ECCC
I grew up in Metro Vancouver and went to school at UBC for my degree in Atmospheric Science. I began my career with ECCC in 2009 in Edmonton as an aviation meteorologist before transferring to the Pacific Storm Prediction Centre in Vancouver in 2015. I have been with the Client Services team here since 2018. Currently I am in the role of Warning Preparedness Meteorologist.
I work closely with Emergency Management Organizations to understand vulnerabilities and provide weather support to help keep Canadians safe.
Outside of work I love spending time with friends and family, going for walks with my wife and watching sports.
