Brad Geddes

Executive Director, Recovery Branch at Alberta Emergency Management Agency

Brad Geddes joined the Recovery Branch in April 2014. He brought experience in disaster recovery from his time seconded to the Government of Alberta’s Flood Recovery Task Force as Director of Stakeholder Engagement. Prior to joining the task force, Brad was the Deputy Superintendent of Insurance at Alberta Treasury Board and Finance and was integral in updating the province’s Insurance Act in 2008 and implementing the auto insurance reforms in 2004.

Brad believes in lifelong learning and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and Rural Development from Augustana University College, a Master of Science in Agriculture Economics from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alberta.
