Brett Williams is a senior model product manager focused on developing atmospheric, hydrologic, and seismic catastrophe models through the Verisk Extreme Event Solutions organization. Brett is a 17 year veteran of the catastrophe modeling industry through both Verisk and Moody’s, and has partnered with companies across the globe as both a consultant and as a software product manager to train thousands of modeling application users, optimize underwriting and portfolio management workflows, and build custom applications that facilitate risk selection and pricing. Prior to working in catastrophe modeling, Brett worked on perfecting machine learning methods to predict airborne electromagnetic energy trajectory and holds degrees in Meteorology and Climatology from Pennsylvania State University.
